Well your prayers have been answered with The Watchmen inc. Established in South Wales in 1986 have an awesome reputation for giving the crowd exactly what they want - a good time! The Watchmen are the band of choice by corporate event and wedding planners across the UK and Europe.

With their powerful and versatle repertoire, The Watchmen have entertained audiences at venues from marquee weddings and stately homes to thousands of people at open-air concert venues. They are equally at home providing the live entertainment for a wedding or birthday party as they are playing for major corporations, university balls or festivals.

The band members have many years of live performance under their belts. Members of the band have worked with The Stereophonics, Midge Ure, Damon Hill, Fat Barry's soul band, and have performed at venues as diverse at the Wales Millennium Centre, The Soho Bar, The Groucho club, and the Marquee club in London. All band members have various recording and T.V. credits to their name and they have shared the bill with artists including Jools Holland and his Orchestra, Catatonia, The Stereophonics, The Manic Street Preachers, Paul Weller, Procol Harum, Midge Ure and Big Country.

The set contains rock, pop and soul classics from the 60's to current chart hits - everyone a guaranteed floor filler. Material has been carefully selected to provide not just the best in more 'established' songs by acts such as U2 and Oasis, but also more energetic tracks by the likes of the Kaiser Chiefs and The Strokes.

Whatever the song, the attention to detail and the bands own interpretation is outstanding. Multi-guitar parts and vocal arrangements, as well as state of the art equipment including keyboards and 'real instrument' backing tracks for the Swing Jazz sets bring the music to life in a way few bands can match.

Your event
If the event requires an element of tailored entertainment, the band is happy to offer a personalized service for a negotiable fee. With advance notice, individual songs that are special to the event or audience can be performed. This works particularly well with weddings (that 'special' song for the first dance) or companies that have a particular 'anthem' as their team song.

As a chargeable option, The Watchmen offer a fully self-contained DJ package using state-of-the-art software and extra lighting effect. This is a 'manned' disco that offers the same professional service as a DJ that would cost considerably more. This option saves on space as it uses the same P.A. system as the band.
